About Site
This website started life in 2003 as a way of keeping in touch with friends and family and provide a little information about my life here in the far North. Now we win awards.
It has developed since then and continues to do so. This 2008 incarnation is a Wordpress production with the help of Rachel and Beverley at Do-Good Design.
Land up in the Hills is an entirely non-commercial site in every respect apart from one. I am very pleased to entirely support, recommend and otherwise applaud www.orkneycrofts.com. our very close sibling and proud new baby. It genuinely has a great deal of additional content and don’t hesitate to pop over for a visit.
Content is all mine own, some new pages have been added, older deleted or edited. Some articles are informative, some opinionated, some may even be controversial. Hopefully all may be useful.
